    The polyester yarn price tended to be steady in Shengze, China today. A local direct spinning manufacturer reported that the price of DTY and POY was unchanged mainly. Now they quoted DTY 75D/72F for 21,600 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance) and POY 75D/72F 18,100 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance). A local melt spinning manufacturer stabilized the quotation quoted low-stretch DTY 150D/48F 18,000 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F 20,000 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price also tended to be steady in Taicang, China. A local POY manufacturer stabilized the quotation and quoted POY 75D/72F at 17, 750 Yuan/ton (3-month Acceptance) and FDY 50D/24F 19,100 Yuan/ton (Spot Exchange). The polyester yarn price slightly increased in Zhang Jiagang. Now one of the local manufacturers quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 19,100 Yuan/ton (Spot Exchange). Manufacturers reported that there was no stock pressure presently.

    The polyester yarn price tended to be steady in Zhejiang, China today. A mainstream POY manufacture in Xiao Shan quoted POY 75D/144F 17,760 Yuan/ton and FDY 75D/36F 17,000 Yuan/ton. Another manufacture there unchanged the quotation. Now they quoted FDY 66D/24F 17,900 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 150D/48F 16,500 Yuan/ton. The other mainstream manufacturer also didn’t change the prices. Now they quoted POY 75D/72F 17,300 Yuan/ton and 100D/48F 15,900 Yuan/ton.

    The polyester yarn price tended to be steady in Tongxiang, China today. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 150D/144F for 15,600 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 150D/48F 16,800 Yuan/ton. The manufacturer said that the production and marketing can be balanced yesterday.

    The international oil price dropped slightly yesterday. The futures price of the light crude oil delivered in April in COMEX opened at 104.85 USD per barrel, and closed at 105.02 USD per barrel, which dropped 0.42 dollars and the drop rate was 0.40% compared yesterday. The trading range was 103.33-105.79 USD per barrel. In London Market, the futures price of the North Sea Brent Oil delivered in April opened at 114.8 USD per barrel, and closed at 113.06 USD per barrel, which dropped 1.98 dollars and the drop rate was1.72% compared yesterday. Moreover, the PTA futures price also dropped yesterday, the main force contract 1105 closed at 11,508 Yuan/ton, which dropped 302 Yuan/ton compares with the settlement price in last trading day. Affected by this, the downstream market still kept watching and seeing, the resistant attitude is still available. So the polyester yarn manufacturers quoted flat generally and the price was hard to increase in a short time.
