The Textiles And Apparels Export Increased Steadily From Jan To Feb

    According to the statistics from the Customs, the total import and export values were 495.83 billion USD, which increased 28.3% year on year. Among which the export value was 247.47 billion USD, which increased 21.3%; the import value was 248.36 billion USD, which increased 36%. The accumulative trade deficit was 0.89 billion USD.

    On Feb, the total import and export values were 200.78 billion USD, which increased 10.6%. Among which the export value was 96.74 billion USD, which increased 2.4%; the import value was 104.04 billion USD, which increased 19.4%. Influenced by the Spring Festival, the export grew slowly on Feb and the trade deficit was 7.3 billion USD.

    The traditional commodities export grew steadily. It is estimated that China exported apparels 19.79 billion USD, which increased 9.5%; China exported textiles 12.27 billion USD, which increased 20.8%.
