The polyester yarn price keeps stable in Shengze, China today. The local mainstream manufacturers’ quotations keep unchanged. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 19,900 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance), DTY 75D/72F 21,600 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance) and POY 75D/72F 18,100 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance). Another local melt spinning manufacturer quoted low-stretch DTY 150D/48F for 18,000 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F 20,000 Yuan/ton. The other manufacturer quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 19,500 Yuan/ton. There is still negotiated space in practical transaction. Manufacturers said that the sales were ordinary; the low stock amount was around half-month and high stock amount was one-month. The polyester price is also stable in Taicang. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 75D/72F for 17,750 Yuan/ton (3-month Acceptance) and FDY 50D/24F for 19,100 Yuan/ton (Spot Exchange). Another local manufacturer quoted POY 75D/72F for 17,400 Yuan/ton and 150D/144F 15,400 Yuan/ton. The manufacturers said the early inquiry was ordinary. The polyester price keeps stable in Zhang Jiagang. The local manufacturers’ quotations keep unchanged. Now a local mainstream manufacturer quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 19,100 Yuan/ton (Spot Exchange).
The polyester yarn price is mainly adjusting in Zhejiang Market today. The quotations of manufacturers in Xiao Shan keep unchanged. One of the POY manufacturers there quoted POY 150D/144F for 15,060 Yuan/ton. Another local manufacturer quoted FDY 66D/24F for 17,800 Yuan/ton and FDY 100D/72F 15,800 Yuan/ton. The other local manufacturer quoted POY 75D/72F for 17,100 Yuan/ton. However, during the weekend, local manufacturers decreased FDY quotation by 100-200 Yuan/ton. The polyester price keeps unchanged in Tong Xiang. Local manufacturers stabilized the quotations. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 150D/144F for 15,600 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 150D/48F for 16,800 Yuan/ton. They said that the production-marketing rose back during the weekend.
Last weekend, PTA futures increased dramatically. The main force PTA futures in ZCE, contract 1105 closed at 11,734 Yuan/ton, which greatly increased 318 Yuan/ton compared with last trading day. Affected by this, the offering of PTA spot goods in the East China buying market increased 100 Yuan/ton to 11,550-11,600 Yuan/ton. In the selling market, the cargo offering of Taiwan goods increased 5 dollars to 1,520-1,525 dollars/ton and the offering of Korean goods was around 1,510-1,515 dollars/ton. The polyester market went stable. The closing price of semi-dull and big light polyester chips is 13,700 Yuan/ton with 3-month acceptance and delivery and 13,600 Yuan/ton with 3-month trip delivery separately. The production-marketing of polyester manufacturers generally rose back. However, the People’s Bank of China decided to increase the RMB deposit reserve ratio by 0.5% to 20%, so the polyester price in Jiangsu-Zhejiang Market still rely mainly on stable now.
