According to the statistic surveyed from the chosen 350 corporations, today, the general index of chemical fiber increased to 98.55 points. Raw material index come to drop after a continuous rise. Fabric index increase partially, closed at 97.542 points. Poly fiber index is closed at 101.20 points. The busy season for spring and summer fabric raise the curtain, which is just like the weather clearing up, and keeps its rising trend.
 Chemical fiber general index closed at 98.55 points, dropped 0.07 points. Of which, chemical raw material index closed at 101.20 points, dropped 0.08 points. Chemical fabric index closed at 97.542 points, increased 0.05 points. Fabric index increases boost the general index increase.
The largest increase amount is own to 170T Taffeta, which increased 0.64 points. And the largest drop amount is own to FDY63/24poly fiber, which dropped 0.65 points.
See from products index, fabrics and linings increased to a small extent on the general. Spring fabric product is coming into a busy season. Both Sea-Island Suede and Stretch Oxford showed a well market outlook. Sales volume of imitated wool and leather fabric is increasing to some extent. Poly Trilobal, Curtain fabric, Home Textile, Poly Span Faille, 190T Taffeta, Imitated memory fabric, Satin, Chiffon, and etc sales well. Silk typed poly fabric sales well, chiffons, poly pongees for spring and summer apparels, with after finish like dyeing, printing, coating, bonding, embroidery, burnt-discharge, embossing, enjoy a good sales volume.
Today, FDY ｛1202202｝is closed at 98.76 points, dropped 0.46 points. POY filament｛1201208｝is closed at 102.10 points, dropped 0.32 points. DTY interlacing fiber is closed at 107.01 points dropped 0.37 points. FDY filament shows the largest index drop amount. On production and marketing rate, spinning plants start to stock products, but poly fiber stock pressure is not big. With the downstream fabric market come into the busy season, poly fiber market will rise again.
Today, the selling lead product price, FDY50D/24F is quoted at 19200 CNY/t, semi-dull FDY68D/24F is quoted at 17600CNY/t, FDY100D/48F is quoted at 16000CNY, 100D/72F is quoted at 16400CNY. POY50D/48F is quoted at 16500 CNY. DTY75D/72F interlacing fiber is quoted at 19800CNY/t. Super major plant offers 20000CNY/t for interlacing DTY75D/36F.
T/T Compound fiber market slacked with the influence of POY price going down. T/T compound fiber price is also marked down. Sea-island fiber market changes little, and its price tends to be steady. T/N compound fiber DTY75D sales well in the aftermarket. Cation fiber market slack, its price marked down, and with the influence of downstream purchasing capacity decrease, the Cation aftermarket is to be slack continually.
Raw material for chemical fiber increased in a small degree, keeping the so called “three halves” namely, half dull, half cash, half take price high over 10,000 CNY, which is about 13600CNY/t. Meanwhile, PTA price marked up to 11600CNY, MEG price is 9600CNY.
