    Today’s polyester yarn price keeps adjusting in Shengze. A local direct spinning manufacturer stabilized the quotation now and quoted FDY 50D/24F for 19,600 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance) and DTY 75D/72F 20,500 Yuan/ton. Another melt spinning manufacturer’s quotation keep steady, and they quote DTY 150D/48F for 18,000 Yuan/ton. The other manufacturer unchanged the quotations; now they quote light FDY 40D/24F for 18,900 Yuan/ton (by cash). A full-dull products manufacturer now quoted FDY 66D/48F for 19,500 Yuan/ton. The manufacturers reported that the straddle attitude of the downstream market was strong; all the purchasing was done due to the requirements and the trading volume was little. The polyester price is slightly adjusting in Taicang. A local manufacturer reduced part of the FDY products by 100-200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 18,700 Yuan/ton (with 3-month acceptance). The POY products’ quotation keeps unchanged and the POY 75D/72F stay at 17,650 Yuan/ton (with 3-month acceptance). Another manufacturer unchanged the POY quotation and quote POY 75D/72F for 17,300 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F 15,300 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers in Taicang reported that yesterday’s sales were weak.

    The polyester price steadily increased in Zhejiang Market. A mainstream manufacturer reduced the price of DTY products by 100 Yuan/ton and FDY products by 100-200 Yuan/ton generally. Now they keep the quotations steady, who quoted FDY 66D/24F for 17,600 Yuan/ton and micro-web DTY 75D/144F for 20,000 Yuan/ton. Another POY manufacturer unchanged the quotations too. Now they quote POY 150D/144F for 14,860 Yuan/ton and POY 75D/72F 17,100 Yuan/ton. The polyester price slightly increased in Tong Xiang. Except POY products, DTY 200D and above products as well as light and black yarn DTY products, the other products increased 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quote POY 150D/144F for 15,400 Yuan/ton. Another POY manufacturer also increased their quotations by 100 Yuan/ton and now they quote POY 150D/48F for 15,200 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers in Tong Xiang reported that the sales rose back yesterday and the production-marketing was over 100%.

    Now the upstream materials price is still high and it made the cost of polyester yarns keep firm. The downstream factories tended to buy for immediate use instead of stocking. So the stock pressure of polyester yarns factories is big and the price of polyester yarns is hardly to rise, and the price of polyester yarns will keep consolidating recently.
