The PTA Futures Dropped Dramatically And The Price Of Polyester Yarns May Drop Today

    The price of polyester yarns keeps stable in China today. The local mainstream manufacturers' quotations keep unchanged. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 19,600 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance), DTY 75D/72F 20,500 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance). Another local melt spinning manufacturer quoted DTY50D/72F for 25,100 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 150D/48F for 18,000 Yuan/ton. The other manufacturer quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 18,900 Yuan/ton. Another big dull factory quoted FDY66D/48F for 19,500 Yuan/Ton. The factories said the sales situation was ordinary yesterday, and the stock was still increased. The polyester price is also stable in Taicang. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 75D/36F for 16,000 Yuan/ton (3-month Acceptance). Another local manufacturer quoted POY 150D/144F for 15,200 Yuan/ton. The sales situation is not good.

    The  price of polyester yarn dropped slightly in Zhejiang Market today. The quotations of manufacturers in Xiao Shan dropped slightly. One of manufacturers there quoted low-stretch DTY75D/36F for 20,000 Yuan/ton and FDY50D/24F quoted for 18,300 Yuan/Ton. Another local manufacturer quoted POY750D/36F for 15,660 Yuan/ton. A big factory in Shaoxing quoted for 15,160 Yuan/Ton and light FDY40D/24F quoted for 19,160 Yuan/Ton. The polyester price keeps unchanged in Tong Xiang. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 150D/144F for 15,400 Yuan/ton and another factory quoted POY150D/48F for 15,200 Yuan/Ton. The quotation of factories mainly unchanged but the price will decrease in the practical transaction.

    Yesterday, the price of crude oil increased dramatically, but the price of PTA futures in ZCE dropped dramatically.  The main force PTA futures in ZCE, contract 1105 closed at 10,872 Yuan/ton, which greatly dropped 242 Yuan/ton compared with last trading day. The offering price of PTA in the East China is near 11,450-11,500 Yuan/ton. The cargo offering of Taiwan goods dropped 5 dollars to 1,510-1,515 dollars/ton and the offering price of Korean goods was dropped 5 dollars to 1,505 dollars/ton. The polyester semi-dull chips market went stable and the price of spot goods was 13650 Yuan/Ton (3 mouth acceptance). The price of light polyester chips is 13,550 Yuan/ton with 3-month acceptance. The polyester price has separated from the influence of crude oil price and the cost of polyester may drop, so it is estimated that the price of polyester yarns will drop in the future.
