-The Price Is Weakly Consolidating
The polyester price is mainly steady in Jiangsu market. The quotations keep stable in Shengze market. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 17,800 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance) and DTY 75D/72F for 20,400 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance). Another melt spinning manufacturer now quoted semi-dull FDY 40D/24F for 19,700 Yuan/ton and the other manufacturer quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 17,500 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F for 17,000 Yuan/ton. The manufacturers reported that the production-marketing raised back and was around 60-70%. The polyester prices keep steady in Taicang market. The local manufacturers stabilized the quotations, while those who had low storage increased the POY products’ quotations by 50 Yuan/ton and it’s the opposite for those who had high storage. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 75D/72F for 17,050 Yuan/ton by cash remittance.
The polyester price tends to be steady in Zhejiang market. A local manufacturer in Xiao Shan decreased the prices of FDY fine denier products a little and generally decreased FDY 50D-70D products by 200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 66D/24F for 15,900 Yuan/ton by acceptance and FDY 75D/36F 15,500 Yuan/ton by acceptance. Another POY manufacturer’s quotations keep unchanged and now they quoted POY 150D/144F for 14,300 Yuan/ton. The polyester prices keep steady in Tong Xiang market. A local mainstream manufacturer stabilized their quotations and quoted POY 150D/144F for 15,100 Yuan/ton; while the other manufacturer increased some light POY products by 100 Yuan/ton and they quoted 150D for 14,700 Yuan/ton.
The April’s settlement price of upstream polyester successionally disclosed yesterday. For example, a domestic leading manufacturer announced their settlement price of PTA contracts in April for 11,400 Yuan and MEG 8,950 Yuan, which decreased 600 Yuan/ton and 1000 Yuan/ton separately compared with the settlement price last month. Besides, the settlement price of semi-dull chips is 13,450 Yuan/ton and it of light chips is 13,300 Yuan/ton. Influenced by these prices, the production-marketing turned to be ordinary yesterday and most was around 70-80%. Therefore, the polyester prices is still weakly consolidating and the manufacturers still focus on the selling amount.
