The Export Value of Apparels Increased 23.96% Year on Year in the First Quarter

    Since 2011, China textiles and apparels industry remains high speed growth. The turnover of retail sales was 201.4 billion Yuan, which increased 22.3% year on year.

    According to the data of Customs, in the first quarter of 2011, the export value of China textiles and apparels was 48.627 billion USD, which increased 23.96% year on year, and the growth speed rise again compared to 13.56% on Jan to Feb.

    The export value of textiles was 20.165 billion USD, which increased 32.71%; the export value of apparels and accessories was 28.461 billion USD, which increased 18.42% year on year.
