168tex News: Monday, the general index of Shengze index decreased 0.08 points, closed at 98.96 points. Of which, chemical fabric price index decreased 0.06 points, closed at 98.22 points. Chemical fiber index was closed at 99.63 points, dropped 0.07 points.
 Today, demand for functional fabric in Shengze market increased, like model, tencel, soy, cotton spandex jersey and other knitted fabrics also sales well. See from it, we can find that low carbonate, natural and environmental friendly fabrics are more and more welcomed by consumers. Sale after market will go strong continually, but the high price will inhibit the sales volume to some degree. With the coming of the summer season, the best seller of the first half of the year, warp knitted swim suit fabric sale is decreasing. May and June is the slack season of such fabrics. It is mainly because plants carried out production in advance, now it comes into the circulation chain. Swim suit fabric sale is expected to go up again after August. On operation rate, today, water jet and air jet loom operation rate go down under the influence of load shed and environmental protection checking programs.
 See from chemical fiber, currently, PTA futures has not yet stabilized, its price will continue to go down after a short term of rebound, and the most likely limit point is at 9000 points. On spot goods, PTA spot goods go up slightly, strike price increased 100CNY/t in compare with last week. Inquiries are increased but actual transact is rare. PTA contract closing price is forecasted around 10800CNY/t in May.
On poly fiber, today, poly fiber price in China is stable. Now, POY150D/144F is quoted at 14000CNY/t, POY150D/48F is quoted at 13850CNY/t, FDY66D/24F is quoted at 14100CNY/t. Weaving factories are prudent on material procurement, generally buy in according to needs. Chemical fiber production and marketing rate is low, yarn spinning plants sales allowance will continue in order to occupy market share. Therefore, poly fiber price will stay low to consolidate.
