June 1st, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

Upstream: Yesterday, the international price of crude oil increased. The futures price of light crude oil in New York Commodity Exchange increased 2.11USD to 102.7 USD per barrel. The price of PX in Asia dropped 1 USD to 1,481 USD/Ton FOB Korean, and the price of PX in Europe kept about 1,546 USD/Ton FOB Rotterdam.

Today, the price of PTA in domestic market keeps about 9750 Yuan/Ton. The price of PTA increased slightly in overseas market, Taiwan cargo price is about 1225-1230 USD/Ton, the price of Korean goods is about 1220-1225 USD/Ton. The market atmosphere and practical negotiation is normal.

The price of MEG in eastern China increased dramatically to 9750-9800 Yuan/Ton, the buyers are positive to follow up and the market atmosphere is active.

The price of semi-dull polyester chips is firmly 11900-12100 Yuan/Ton and the polyester bottle chips is about 12400-12500 Yuan/ton. The market atmosphere and practical negotiation is a few. 

Downstream: Today, the price of PSF in eastern China increased slightly. The price of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is about 12,550-12,650 Yuan/Ton. The price of Polyester yarns increased 100-200 Yuan/Ton. The price of semi-dull FDY50D/24F is about 15,500 Yuan/Ton.
