Poly Fiber Price Increase Lacks Force Autumn Winter Fabric Needs Increase

Tuesday, Commerce Department China·Shengze Silk & Chemical Fiber Index increased 0.03 points, closed at 99.18 points. Of which, chemical fabric price index increased 0.05 points, closed at 98.33 points; chemical fiber index closed at 100.11 points, fell 0.04 points.
Chemical Fabric
 Today, 75D PFD chiffon order increased. This kind fabric is mainly for women’s wear, and the strike price is good, increased 0.1 CNY/m. On polyester peach skin, today, N/T satin peach skin sales well, for this kind of fabric, its hand feeling is soft, thick and feels like cotton, and its luster changes from different angles. Meanwhile, the fabric employs high temperature embossing craftwork, which increased the kinds of finished fabrics, adding market competitiveness. Besides this fabric, other peach fabric sales volume decreased to some degree. In addition, 15D, 20D micro fiber Nylon plain, check, twill and Jacquard fabric need of the market increased, which is mainly used for autumn and winter garment, down coat and etc, while 20D poly plain, plaid fabric sale is sluggish. For this kind of fabric is mainly used for garments, also the prior choose for functional raincoat. This fabric sells well in the previous period, now it enters into the slack season. Today the operation rate of water jet and air jet looms are still under the influence of load shedding program.
Chemical Fiber
 See from chemical fiber, currently, PTA price shows a consolidate trend. Some domestic quotation is priced at 9700CNY/t, and the mainstream price is negotiated at 9650CNY/t. Quotation out abroad for Taiwan goods is at $1220-1225/t. Poly chips mainstream is stroke at the price of 11900CNY/t (cash take price).
On poly fiber, today, poly fiber price keeps stable in China. Now POY150D/144F cash take price is quoted at 14700CNY/t, FDY50D/72F cash take price is quoted at 17400CNY/t, DTY75D/144F light interlacing yarn is quoted at 19000CNY/t. Currently, the rigid demand for poly fiber of the downstream market stays high, adding up with the procurement in the first half of year is closing, poly fiber price trend will fluctuate aftermarket. Of course, there is also the possibility of some kinds of poly fiber that sales well, will increase its price again.
