June 9th, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices

Today, the international price of crude oil increased. The futures price of light crude oil in New York Commodity Exchange increased 1.65 USD to 100.74 USD per barrel. The price of PX in Europe kept about 1,475 USD/Ton FOB Rotterdam and the price of PX in Asia dropped to 1,423 USD/Ton FOB Korean.
 

Today, the PTA overseas market is weak. Taiwan cargo price is about 1210-1220 USD/Ton; the price of Korean goods is about 1205 USD/Ton. The market atmosphere is normal. The price of PTA in domestic market dropped slightly to 9500 Yuan/Ton and the practical negotiation is limited.

MEG: The price of MEG increased slightly and the inquiry increased. The price is about 9600 Yuan/Ton in domestic market, the price is about 1255 USD in overseas market and the suppliers are reluctant to sell.
 

PET: The price of semi-dull polyester chips increased continuously and is about12, 150-12, 250 Yuan/Ton and some factories were reluctant to sell. The price of polyester bottle chips in domestic market is firmly about 12,600-12,700 Yuan/ton. Today, the price of PSF in eastern China increased slightly. The price of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is about 13,050 Yuan/Ton. The price of Polyester yarns increased continuously and the price of semi-dull FDY50D/48F is about 16,900 Yuan/Ton.
