June 17th, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

June.16 the price of COMEX Light, sweet crude oil futures for July delivery raised 14 cents to 94.95 dollars per barrel. The price of London market Brent Oil futures for July delivery raised 1.01 dollars to 114.02 dollars per barrel .While June.16 the price of Asia PX sank 1 dollars to 1414 dollars per ton FOB Korea, Europe PX raised 3 dollars to 1466 dollars per ton FOB Rotterdam.

 

Today PTA domestic market is stable, the suppliers’ price offers around 9500-9550 RMB/T, and the practical price is at 9500 RMB/T. The overseas market is firm today, Taiwan ship goods quote 1200 dollars per ton, and Korea goods quote at 1190 dollars per ton. The market trading atmosphere is dim, and the practical discussion is general.

 

Downstream: today the domestic market of PET Bottle Chip keeps stable, mainstream price from the manufactories is around 12600-12700 RMB/T (cash, factory price). The market trading atmosphere is flat. In China Jiangsu and Zhejiang market, the semi-dull polyester chips offer at 11900-12050 RMB/T (spot cash). The factory price of polyester spun yarn 1.4D*38mm in East China market offers around 13150-13300 RMB/T.
