The Profit of Chemical Fiber Industry Increased 56.9% from Jan to May

    According to the data from the State Statistic Bureau, from Jan to May, the profit of industry enterprises above designated size was 1920.3 billion Yuan, which increased 27.9%. During the 39 industry categories, the profit of 37 industries increased year on year while 2 industries dropped year on year. Among which the chemical materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased 57.4% and the chemical fiber manufacturing industry increased 56.9%.

    During the industries enterprise above designated size, the profit of state-owned enterprises and state-held companies was 633.4 billion Yuan, which increased 19.6% year on year. The profit of collective enterprises was 29.8 billion Yuan, which increased 29.8% year on year. The profit of corporate enterprises was 1087.2 billion Yuan, which increased 33.1%; the profit of foreign enterprises, Hong Kong，Macao, and Taiwan investment enterprises was 517.7 billion Yuan, which increased 15.4% year on year. The profit of private enterprises was 497.3 billion Yuan, which increased 45.2% year on year.
