168Tex News: 19th July, according to the data of Shengze index, today, the general index dropped 0.03 points, closed at 99.04 points, of which, chemical fabric price index dropped 0.05 points, closed at 98.17 point, and chemical fiber index closed at 100.21 points, increased 0.03 points.

Today, fabric sale in China market improves little. On operation rate, for there is no high temperatures, water jet and air jet loom operation rate keeps around 70%-80%.
See from conventional fabric sales volume, polyester pongee, taffeta, taslon, sales volume improved a little and the price also increased a little. Buyers reflect, 320T polyester pongee price increased the most. It is one of the most popular fabrics in the second half of year. Its high dense makes it even soft and comfortable, which is used for suit, dress, jackets, and children’s wear, and linings. Of which,320T stretch polyester pongee sales volume increased notably. Through dying and printing, it is more colorful, which is mainly used for women’s casual wear, children’s wear. Chiffon price decreased a little and its sales volume dropped, of which, 75D chiffon price decreased the most.

Chemical fiber price continue to go up today. It is mainly because poly fiber price increased a little. Poly fiber price in China mainly keeps stable. Bright FDY in a local melt spinning plants increased by 100CNY. Now bright FDY50D/36F cash take price is quoted at 16200CNY/t, semi-bright FDY50D/72F acceptance price is quoted at 17800CNY/t, DTY75D/144F acceptance price is quoted at 19800CNY/t. Another melt spinning plants keeps FDY and POY price unchanged. Now FDY50D/24F acceptance price is 16500CNY/t, POY 75D/72F is quoted at 16400CNY/t. DTY price has not yet come out. Another super major plants quotation keeps unchanged, its bright FDY40D/24F cash take price is quoted at 16000CNY/t, and semi-bright FDY50D/48F cash take price is quoted at 16100CNY/t.
Today, poly feedstock PTA quotation in China continue to increase, suppliers offer the price of 9200CNY, while quotation out abroad, the Taiwan ship loaded goods price is quoted at $1180, Korean goods price is quoted at $1160, actual negotiate is rare. On upstream, crude oil futures in New York yesterday is closed at $95.93, while PX price continue to go up. Asian PX price is closed at $1485. Although chemical fiber feedstock price increased, fabric sale is still depressed, chemical fiber index is likely to downward.
