The Purchase Quantity of Raw Material in Textile Enterprises Decreased Month-on-Month in Feb.

According to the data from sample enterprises, the purchase quantity of raw material decreased 24.7% month-on-month. Hereinto, the purchase quantity of raw cotton decreased 23.8% month-on-month. The imported cotton decreased 48.7% month-on-month and other non cotton fiber went down 28.5% month-on-month. In Feb. the yarn production decreased 26.0% month-on-month. Hereinto, the cotton yarn went down 23.1%, the blended yarn decreased 24.0% and chemical fiber yarn decreased 43.9%.
