August 19th, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices

Crude Oil futures: Till Beijing time 15:00, August 18, 2011, WTI September crude oil futures latest price is 86.88 dollars/bbl, make the deal at 6,649 hands, October crude oil futures price is 87.04 dollars/bbl, make the deal at 4,261 hands. Brent October crude futures latest price is 110 dollars/bbl, make the deal at 3,499 hands.

PTA：The PTA price continues to increase in the overseas market today. The suppliers quoted Taiwan cargo for 1，260 dollars/ton and the downstream bidding price is around 1，250 dollars/ton. The practical discussions are around 1,255 dollars/ton. The offering of Korean cargo is around 1,240 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 1，230 dollars/ton and the practical discussion is around 1,230-1,235 dollars/ton.

PET Bottle Chips: The polyester bottle chips price goes up slightly in overseas market today. The leading domestic manufacturers adjusted the price around 1,700 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 1,660 dollars/ton. The practical discussions are around 1,670-1,680 dollars/ton. The trading atmosphere is dull and the real discussions are rare.

PSF: The Polyester Staple Fiber price goes up in East China, among which 1.4D*38mm PSF’s leading quotations focus on 13100-13200 Yuan/ton. The core of PSF price is also going up slightly in South China, among which 1.4D*38mm PSF is quoted 13,200-13,300 Yuan/ton by cash and with delivery.

PFY: The polyester yarn price keeps stable in Jiangsu，Zhejiang Market. In Shengze market, A local melt spinning manufacturer increased FDY products by 17000 Yuan/ton. A local leading manufacturer in Xiao Shan quoted DTY150D/48F for 16300 and another manufacturer quoted POY150D/144F for 14819 Yuan/ton.
