December 5, 2011- Polyester Yarn Price Increased in China

The polyester yarn price slightly increased in Jiangsu. A leading direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze increased both FDY products and DTY products by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 13800 Yuan/ton by 6-month acceptance and DTY 150D/144F for 14100 Yuan/ton. The local melt spinning manufacturer stabilized the quotations and quoted FDY 50D/48F for 13700 Yuan/ton and bright FDY 50D/36F for 14700 Yuan/ton. The local FDY products manufacturer increased FDY products by 100 Yuan/ton generally and quoted FDY 75D/36F for 12300 Yuan/ton by cash.

 The polyester yarn price continues to grow in Zhejiang market. A local manufacturer in Xiao Shan increased the products by 100 Yuan/ton generally and quoted DTY 150D/48F low-stretch for 13300 Yuan/ton, FDY 150D/96F for 12400 Yuan/ton and FDY 66D/24F for 13000 Yuan/ton. Another POY manufacturer stabilized the quotations and quoted POY 75D/36F for 11700 Yuan/ton and POY 100D/36F for 11500 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the inventories were low. The polyester yarn price also rose in Shao Xing. A local leading manufacturer generally increased FDY products by 100-200 Yuan/ton and now they quoted FDY 75D/144F for 12700 Yuan/ton and FDY 150D/96F for 12100 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price kept steady in Tong Xiang. Now a local leading manufacturer increased quoted POY 150D/144F for 13150 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/48F for 13300 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers said the inquiring atmosphere was normal.
