In East China, MEG price dropped further. The offers were around 8200 Yuan/ton and the bidding offers of orders in large quantities were around 8050-8100 Yuan/ton. The discussions were around 8100 Yuan/ton.
Today, PTA price dropped in North China. Suppliers quoted the goods for 9000-9050 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price was around 8950 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions were around 8950-9000 Yuan/ton.
The downstream market is lack of stocking intention for PSF and the price showed weak tendency. Now semi-dull 1.4D*38mm PSF was quoted 12250-12300 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu, China and the practical close prices were around 12200-12250 Yuan/ton.
Today, the price of polyester bottle chips is temporarily stable. The leading manufacturers quoted the goods for 12000-12100 Yuan/ton by cash and the downstream bidding price was around 11900 Yuan/ton. The practical discussions were around 11900-12000 Yuan/ton by cash. The trading atmosphere was dull and the real trades are rare.
