Today, the quotation of MEG is around 7450 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu, China. Buyers offered 7350-7400 Yuan/ton and the discussions were around 7400-7450 Yuan/ton.
PTA price is stable in North China. Leading quotations in the market are around 8600-8650 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 8500 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 8550-8600 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere is mild and there is little trades on market.
Today, the price of polyester bottle chips dropped slightly in China. Leading manufacturers quoted the goods at 11700-11800 Yuan/ton by cash. The downstream bidding price was around 11500 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions were around 11500-11700 Yuan/ton by cash. The trading atmosphere is mild.
The price of polyester staple fiber decreased in East China. Leading quotations on market continued to decline. At present, 1.4D direct spinning PSF was quoted at 11200-11300 Yuan/ton in East China.
Today, most manufacturers in Shengze stabilized the quotation of polyester yarn. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 14300 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/72F at 14400 Yuan/ton by cash. The other FDY manufacture also kept the quotations unchanged. They quoted FDY 50D/48F at 13200 Yuan/ton by cash and bright FDY 50D/36F at 13500 Yuan/ton.
