Mar 21st Daily Review on Polyester Prices

CPL: Today RMB spot market of CPL is consolidated by weakness. Now the leading quotation of it is between 22,500 and 22,600 Yuan/ton, falls about 100 Yuan/ton. The buyers of downstream market keeps wait-and-see mood, and the inquiry atmosphere is general.

Futures: Today PTA futures open slightly lower in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. The contract 1209 opens at 8,620 Yuan/ton, declines 44 Yuan/ton compared with the closing price of previous trading day. In addition, the cotton futures also go lower in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange，now the contract 1209 opens at 21,300 Yuan/ton, falls 70 Yuan/ton compared to the closing price of previous trading day.

PSF: Today the prices of polyester staple fiber go stable in East China, and the leading quotation of it continues to decline slightly. At present, the prices of 1.4D direct spinning PSF fall to 11,200-11,250 Yuan/ton.

MEG: Today the market price of MEG is 7,400-7,450 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu，China, the buying offer is near by 7,350 Yuan/ton and the negotiating price is 7,400 Yuan/ton or lower.

PFY: Today the prices of polyester yarn go stable in Taicang, China. Now the conventional products of POY fall 150 Yuan/ton in a local leading factory, and others are stable. The quotation of POY150D/144F is 11,650 Yuan/ton, and FDY50D/24F is 13,500 Yuan/ton. The factory reflects that the inquiry atmosphere is general in the morning.
