Today, the quotation of MEG is around 7500 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu. Buyers offered 7400-7450 Yuan/ton and the discussions stay at 7450 Yuan/ton.
Today, the polyester staple fiber maintained downward tendency. Leading quotations on market had no change. Now 1.4D direct spinning PSF is quoted 11150-11250 Yuan/ton on market in East China.
The polyester yarn price increased in Tong Xiang, China. A local leading manufacturer increased POY products by 100-200 Yuan/ton and FDY products by 50 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted POY 150D/144F light web for 11400 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/48F low stretch for 12700 Yuan/ton. The production-marketing was 130% yesterday.
Today, the price of polyester bottle chips slightly decreased. Leading manufacturers quoted the products at 11550-11600 Yuan/ton by cash. The downstream bidding price is around 11450 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 11450-11550 Yuan/ton by cash. The trading atmosphere is mild and few trades are closed in the market.
