Today, the quotation of MEG in Jiangsu, China stay at 7350-7400 Yuan/ton. Buyers offer 7300-7350 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7300-7400 Yuan/ton.
Today, the PTA market is mild in North China. The quotations are around 8800 Yuan/ton in the market. The downstream bidding price is around 8700 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 8700-8750 Yuan/ton. The demand is still weak in the downstream market and the trading atmosphere is mild.
Today, the polyester staple fiber price is mainly stable in the market and the leading quotations from the manufacturers are basically unchanged. At present, in East China, 1.4D direct spinning PSF is quoted 11250-11300 Yuan/ton.
Today, the polyester yarn market is still unchanged in Shengze, China. A local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F at 13400 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/144F at 14100 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/72F at 14000 Yuan/ton and bright FDY 50D/36F at 16400 Yuan/ton by cash. The production-marketing of the manufacturers decreased to 60-80% yesterday.
