Apr 1st Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

PFY: Today the price of polyester yarn continues to be stable in Wuxi, China, and the quotation of it rises 100 Yuan/ton in a local leading manufacturer. Now the cash quotation of bright FDY50D/36F is 13,500 Yuan/ton, and the semi-bright FDY75D/36F is 12,400 Yuan/ton. The marketing is still sluggish, and the production and marketing is 50% or so.

PTA: Today PTA price keeps strong in North China. The sporadic quotations are around 8,800 Yuan/ton in the market, the downstream bidding prices are around 8,700 Yuan/ton, and the practical discussions are around 8,750 Yuan/ton. Now the trading atmosphere is cold and with little negotiations in the market.

PSF: Today the center of leading quotations for polyester staple fiber is flat in South China. Among which the prices of 1.4D direct spinning PSF are around 11,300-11,350 Yuan/ton by cash and with delivery. In addition, the prices of polyester staple fiber are also consolidated, and the leading quotation of it goes stable in East China. At present, the prices of 1.4D direct spinning PSF focus on 11,250-11,300 Yuan/ton.

MEG: Today the leading quotation of MEG is around 7,300-7,350 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu，China, the buying offer is about 7,250 Yuan/ton and the negotiations are around 7,300 Yuan/ton or lower.

VSF: Today the market quotation of viscose staple fiber is stable in China. With the Tomb-sweeping Day approaching, the trading atmosphere is general in the market and the leading quotation of VSF is around 16,000-16,300 Yuan/ton.
