Today, the PTA market is stable in China. Partial suppliers quoted the goods at 8750 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price was around 8650 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 8700 Yuan/ton. The market is mild and lack of trades.
Today, the quotation of MEG is around 7250-7300 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu. Buying offering is around 7200-7250 Yuan/ton. The discussions of spot goods are around 7250 Yuan/ton.
Today, the polyester staple fiber weakly dropped in the market and some of the manufacturers decreased the quotations. At present, 1.4D direct spinning PSF is quoted 11200-11250 Yuan/ton.
Today, the price of polyester bottle chips is stable in China. Leading manufacturer quoted the goods at 11200-11300 Yuan/ton by cash. Downstream manufacturer bid the goods for 11100-11150 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 11150-11200 Yuan/ton.
The polyester yarn price still keeps firm in Shengze, China. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F at 13700 Yuan/ton by cash and DTY 150D/144F at 14100 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/72F at 14000 Yuan/ton and bright FDY 60D/36F at 16400 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers reported that they received very little inquiries recently.
