Apr 13th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

Futures: Today PTA futures open slightly higher in China-Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. The contract 1209 opens at 8,636 Yuan/ton, which increases 58 Yuan/ton compared with the closing price of previous trading day. Meanwhile, the cotton futures in ZCE also open slightly higher. The contract 1209 opens at 21,455 Yuan/ton, up 60 Yuan/ton compared with the closing price of previous trading day.

PTA: Today PTA prices continue to be stable in China. Now the supplier quotes the goods for 8,700 Yuan/ton, the downstream bidding prices are around 8,600 Yuan/ton, and the practical discussions are about 8,650-8,680 Yuan/ton. Now the trading atmosphere is cold and with limited transactions.

PFY: Today the prices of DTY products fall 100-200 Yuan/ton in Shengze, China. Now the cash quotation of DTY50D/72F is 19,200 Yuan/ton, DTY150D/48F is 14,000 Yuan/ton, DTY150D/144F also is 14,000 Yuan/ton, the bright FDY50D/36F is 16,100 Yuan/ton, and the semi-bright FDY50D/48F is 13,700 Yuan/ton.

PSF: Today the center of leading quotations for polyester staple fiber is in a stalemate in South China. Among which the prices of 1.4D direct spinning PSF focus on 11,150-11,250 Yuan/ton. In addition, the prices of PSF continue to be consolidated in East China, now the prices of 1.4D direct spinning PSF focus on 11,050-11,150 Yuan/ton.
