Today, the MEG price increased in the spot market. Suppliers quoted the goods with protective tariff at 1000-1050 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 1000 dollars/ton and the practical discussions are around 1030 dollars/ton.
Today, the polyester bottle chips price slightly increased in China. Leading manufacturers in East China quoted the bottle chips at 10900-11000 Yuan/ton. Higher quotations are around 11300 Yuan/ton, while the practical discussions are around 10900 Yuan/ton.
Today, the price of polyester yarn is unchanged in Shengze. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F at 13500 Yuan/ton and 50D/48F at 13800 Yuan/ton by acceptance. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/72F at 14200 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/24F at 13700 Yuan/ton. The other FDY manufacture also stabilized the quotations and quoted FDY 50D/36F at 13200 Yuan/ton and semi-dull FDY 50D/48F at 13200 Yuan/ton.
