168tex News: China imported 509,700 tons of cotton in Apr. 2012, which reduced 115,500 tons compared with last month and fell to 18.47%, an increase of 300,000 tons year-on-year and up 143.1%. In addition, China imported 3.751 million tons of cotton from Sep. 2011 to Apr. 2012, which increased 1.8048 million tons and rose to 92.74%. Moreover, China imported 2.0774 million tons of cotton from Jan. to Apr. 2012, which rose 1.0159 million tons year-on-year and increased to 95.70%.
