May 28th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

 

CPL: Today, the CPL market is stable in China. In the spot market, leading quotations stay at 19000-19300 Yuan/ton. At present, the buyers are cautious and the trading atmosphere is mild.

 

PET BOTTLE CHIPS: Today, the polyester bottle price keeps steady in South China, but the market is still very dull. Now the leading close price of polyester bottle chips is at 10900 Yuan/ton (tax inclusive). Leading quotation of polyester carbonic acid bottle chips is 11200 Yuan/ton.

 

PTA: The PTA price is stable in domestic market. Suppliers quoted the goods at 8300 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 8200-8250 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 8250-8300 Yuan/ton. The market is still mild and lack of transactions.

  

PFY: Today, the quotations of polyester yarn turned weak in Shengze, China. A direct spinning manufacturer decreased some of the DTY products by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted DTY 150D/144F at 13500 Yuan/ton. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/48F at 14000 Yuan/ton by cash. The other FDY manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F at 13100 Yuan/ton by cash.
