May 30th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

VSF:Today the price of viscose staple fiber shows little change in China. Now the quotation of medium-end products is around 15,600-15,900Yuan/ton in the market and the high-end products is about 16,300 Yuan/ton. The production and marketing remains the low level due to theweak performance in the market. Spun Rayon Yarn:Due to the depressed demand in downstream market, the trading atmosphere of spun rayon yarn is general, so the price ofit declines slightly in China-Xiaoshan & Shaoxing region. Now the leading quotation of woven 30S is about 19,600 Yuan/ton.

PSF:Today the price of polyester staple fiber is in a stalemate. The quotation centre slides slightly in some manufacturers. At present, theprice of 1.4D direct spinning PSF is around 10,800-10,900 Yuan/ton in East China.

PFY:Today the price of polyester filament yarn follows the stable tendency in China-Taicang, but there are some concessions with delivery.Now the quotation of POY150D/144F is 11,350 Yuan/ton in a local leading manufacturer, POY75D/36F is 11,700 Yuan/ton and FDY50D/24F is13,300 Yuan/ton.
