The Domestic Market Demand of the Acrylonitrile Goes Stable but Weak

    The domestic market demand for the acrylonitrile is still stable but tends to be weak. Because the Lunar New Year is coming soon, the downstream operation on the acrylonitrile is partially decreasing, and at the same time, part of the smaller merchants goes out of business for a rest or cuts off the spot transactions. The atmosphere of the market inquiry and transaction conclusion is becoming dull. On the domestic supply side of acrylonitrile, manufacturers of the North operate stably and export smoothly. It is said that, a part of goods in the North and the price of the acrylonitrile with delivery in Shandong, is mostly around 19500-19600 Yuan per ton. This situation brings certain pressure on the price of the port goods. Although the out acrylonitrile price is influenced by the propylene (resource of acrylonitrile) and the short supply; and still climbs up high, the inquiry intention of domestic buyers is still low and the wait-and-see attitude to the after market is high. In the inland market, parts of the North manufacturers are planning to fully open the acrylonitrile equipments after the Lunar New Year; besides, it is said that parts of the acrylonitrile equipments are asked to reduce to use out of the environmental protection, so the supply amount of the domestic acrylonitrile may increase. In the recent Shan Dong market, the main spot goods with delivery are still around 19700-19800 Yuan per ton, and the high-end price decreased. The spot acrylonitrile at the East China is mostly around 19500 Yuan per ton, which is actually around 19400-19500 Yuan per ton according to the real negotiated level.
