June 6th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

 

PTA price stop dropping and went steady in the domestic market. The suppliers’ quotations dropped to 7400 to 7500 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is 7300 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 7350-7400 Yuan/ton. The market is still mild and lack of negotiations.

PTA price goes steady in overseas market. The Taiwan goods are quoted at 945-950 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 920-930 dollars/ton. The practical discussions are around 930-935 dollars/ton.

Today, a full-dull polyester yarn manufacturer in Shengze decreased the quotations again. Now full-dull FDY 48-68D products were decreased by 200 Yuan/ton generally, POY/DTY cation series were cut 200 Yuan/ton and some of the black yarn are reduced by 200-300 Yuan/ton. Now full-dull FDY 48D/48 is quoted 14400 Yuan/ton and cation POY 50D is quoted 16400 Yuan/ton.
