June 12th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

Today, the cotton futures opened low in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Contract 1301 opened at 18,950 Yuan/ton, which is 95 Yuan/ton lower than the closing price of last trading day.
Today, PTA futures slumped at the opening in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Contract 1209 opened at 7,028 Yuan/ton, which lost 168 Yuan/ton than the closing price of last trading day.
PTA price is adjusting in the domestic market and the quotations are unstable. The leading quotations are around 7,150 to 7,200 Yuan/ton. However, some suppliers also quoted the goods around 7,100 Yuan/ton or even at 7,050 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,100 Yuan/ton temporarily and the bidding price is reported around 7,000 Yuan/ton. There is still few deals closed in the market
Today, the quotations of polyester yarn from leading manufacturers in Shengze keep unchanged. Now the local direct spinning manufacturer quoted 6-month acceptance price of DTY 150D/48F, FDY 50D/24F and FDY 50D/48F at 13,000 Yuan/ton, 13,100 Yuan/ton, and 13,300 Yuan/ton respectively. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F, DTY75D/72F and DTY150D/144F, at 14,100 Yuan/ton,12,800 Yuan/ton and 12,000 Yuan/ton all by cash separately.
