In Ease China, the trading price of semi-dull chips (3-month Acceptance, spot goods) was 12, 650 Yuan/ ton with delivery. Although the sales in two-day weekend had some reduction compared with previous times, the production and sales were still balanced and even surpassed. Therefore, under the circumstance of no stock pressure, the mainstream manufacturers’ intention of pushing up the price is strong in the market today.
The polyester price is still increasing in Shengze, China. One local mainstream direct spinning factory quoted a common increase of 200 yuan/ ton of FDY and POY; they said the DTY price is going to rise as well, but the specific price is not confirmed. Now the FDY 50D/ 48F quoted 18, 900 yuan/ ton, POY 75D/72F 16, 500 yuan/ ton. Another local mainstream melt spinning manufacturer reported a 200-yuan/ ton common increase of semi-dull and lustrous FDY; DTY heavy denier yarn price generally raised 100 yuan/ ton, and the light denier yarn 200 yuan/ ton. Now the lustrous FDY 75D/36F quoted 17, 500 yuan/ ton, semi-dull FDY 50D/24F 18, 800 yuan/ ton and DTY 75D/ 72F 20, 200 yuan/ ton. While the other mainstream manufacturer’s quotation keeps stable. Today the polyester price has a slight pushing in Taicang, China. A local mainstream manufacturer quoted that the FDY commonly increased 200 yuan/ ton; POY commonly increased 100 yuan/ ton. Now the FDY 50D/ 24F acceptance price is 18, 200 yuan/ ton and the POY 75D/75F acceptance price is 16, 250 yuan/ ton. The manufacturers reported that the downstream inquiries are very active in the morning session.
Today a mainstream polyester giant in Xiao Shan, China reported a 200-yuan/ ton common increase of DTY. The DTY 150D/48F low-stretch quoted 15,400 yuan/ ton; DTY 150D/ 144F micro-web quoted 16, 300 yuan/ ton; and the other products quotation are constant. Another POY factory’s quotation is steady; now they quoted the POY 150D/144F at 14, 000 yuan/ ton and FDY 75D/36F at 15, 560 yuan/ ton. And the other mainstream manufacturer’s quotation keeps stable too. Now their quotation of POY 200D/96F is 13, 750 yuan/ ton. All the manufacturers reported that the sales in two-day weekend dropped a little compared with last few days, but can still be balanced with production. Today the polyester price situation stays steady, and the mainstream manufacturers’ quotation keeps unchangeable in Tong Xiang, China. Now the POY 150D/48F is 13, 800 yuan/ ton and the DTY 150D/ 48F is 15, 300 yuan/ ton there.
