Today, the PTA futures opened high in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange in the morning session. Contract 1209 opened at 7,110 Yuan/ton, which increased 22 Yuan/ton than the closing price of last trading day.
Today, the cotton futures slumped in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange in the morning session. Contract 1301 opened at 19,095 Yuan/ton, which dropped 100 Yuan/ton than the closing price of last trading day.
PTA price is unchanged in the domestic market. The leading suppliers quoted the goods at 7,150-7,200 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 7,100 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,100-7,150 Yuan/ton temporarily.
Today, the polyester yarn price keeps unchanged in Shengze. A local melt spinning manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F at 13,100 Yuan/ton by cash. A local direct spinning manufacturer quoted DTY 75D/144F for 13,800 Yuan/ton and DTY 75D/72F for 13,200 Yuan/ton both by 6-month acceptance. Another FDY manufacturer stabilized the quotations and quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F at 11,400 Yuan/ton and bright FDY 50D/36F at 12,100 Yuan/ton both by cash. There is still discount during trades.
