July 3rd Daily Review on Polyester Prices

Today, the cotton futures increased in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange in the morning session. Contract 1301 opened at 19,430 Yuan/ton, which rose 95 Yuan/ton than the closing price of last trading day.
PTA price increased in the domestic market. The leading suppliers quoted the goods at 7,400 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 7,300 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,350 Yuan/ton temporarily.
PTA price increased in overseas market. The Taiwan goods increased to 980 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 950 dollars/ton. The discussions are around 960 dollars/ton. The quotation of Korean goods stayed at 960 dollars/ton. The bidding price is around 940 dollars/ton. The practical discussions are around 945-950 dollars/ton.
Today, the polyester yarn price keeps unchanged in Shengze. A local melt spinning manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F at 13,100 Yuan/ton by cash. Bright FDY 50D/36F is quoted at 13,000 Yuan/ton by cash. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F and 50D/48F is quoted 12,600 Yuan/ton and 12,900 Yuan/ton both by 6-month acceptance separately. Manufacturers said the inquiries decreased in the early market.
