The semi-dull chips spot quotation rose to 13, 000 Yuan/ton in East China. Although the raw material price of upstream still went strong, the polyester yarn’s sales fell back yesterday, which indicated that the downstream covering force was reducing. Therefore, today’s polyester yarn price is still mainly stable, only few of the factories who have short supply increased the quotation moderately

Today, the polyester yarn price has a slight increase in Shengze Market, China. A local mainstream direct spinning factory quoted a common increase of 200 Yuan/ton, some specific products increased 500 Yuan/ton and the price of FDY and POY did not change. Now their low-stretch DTY 75D/72F was quoted 20, 300 Yuan/ton, micro-web DTY75D/144F 20, 600 yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F 18, 900 Yuan/ton. Another melt spinning factory’s quotation keeps stable. The manufacturers said that they had no stock pressure.The polyester yarn price keeps steady in Taicang Market, China. A local manufacturer’s acceptance quotation of FDY50D/24F was 18, 200 yuan/ton, POY75D/75F 16, 250 yuan/ton. The manufacturers reported that the early inquiries of the downstream were good.

Today, a local mainstream polyester yarn manufacturer reported a 100-yuan common increase for DTY in Xiaoshan, China. Now their light-web DTY 75D/72F was quoted 19, 700 Yuan/ton, low-stretch DTY150D/48F 15, 500 yuan/ton, and micro-web DTY150D/144F 16, 400 yuan/ton while other products’ prices keep unchanged. Another POY manufacturer’s quotation keeps stable; now their POY 150D/144 was quoted 14, 000 yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that yesterday’s sales was good, and the production and marketing can be balanced, but there was a weakening tendency of selling. Today, the polyester yarn price keeps stable in Tongxiang Market, China. The local mainstream polyester manufacturers’ quotations were steady. Now a manufacturer quoted POY 150D/48F 13, 800 yuan/ton, DTY150D/48F 15, 300 yuan/ton.

Alougth the production and marketing had a little drop in recent two days, the polyester manufacturers still had no storage now and some of the popular goods had even been sold out for a month. So there is hardly any space for the price of the polyester yarn to fall back. For the downstream weaving factories, if you have little storage, you can appropriately do some cover and pay greater attention to the raw material in the afterward market.
