July 16th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

 

PTA price increased in the domestic market. The leading suppliers quoted the goods at 7,550 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 7,400 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,450 Yuan/ton temporarily.

  

PTA price increased in overseas market. The Taiwan goods are quoted at 1,005-1,010 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 990-995 dollars/ton. The discussions are around 1,000

 

Today, the polyester yarn price keeps stable in Shengze. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 75D/36F at 13,700 Yuan/ton by 6-month acceptance. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted bright FDY 50D/48F at 13100 Yuan/ton by cash. DTY 75D/72F bright FDY 75D/36F are quoted 13,100 Yuan/ton and 11,900 Yuan/ton separately.

 

Today, the cotton futures opened highly in the morning session in ZCE. Contract 1301 opened at 19,605 Yuan/ton, which greatly increased 150 Yuan/ton compared with the last trading day.
