July 20th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

Today, a local direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze increased the price of some popular products. The cash quotations of FDY 50D/72F and DTY 75D/72F increased to 13,700 Yuan/ton and 13,800 Yuan/ton separately. DTY 150D/144F and bright FDY 50D/36F are quoted at 12,200 Yuan/ton and 13,400 Yuan/ton.

 

PTA price increased in the domestic market. The leading suppliers quoted the goods at 7,650-7,700 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 7,600 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,600-7,650 Yuan/ton temporarily.

 

PTA price increased in the overseas market. The Taiwan goods are quoted at 1,020-1,025 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 1,010 dollars/ton. The quotation of Korean goods is at 1,010 dollars/ton. The bidding price is around 990 dollars/ton.

 

Today, the cotton futures dropped at the close in Zhengzhou Commodity of Exchange. Contract 1301 closed at 19,460 Yuan/ton, which decreased 15 Yuan/ton than the closing price of last trading day, down 0.08%.
