July 26th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

 

Today, the polyester yarn price keeps stable in Shengze. Now a local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F and DTY 150D/48F at 12,900 Yuan/ton and 12,000 Yuan/ton respectively. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted bright FDY 50D/72F at 13,700 Yuan/ton by cash. DTY 75D/72F, DTY 150D/144F and bright FDY 75D/36F are quoted 13,800 Yuan/ton, 12,200 Yuan/ton and 13,400 Yuan/ton separately.

 

PTA price turned stable in the domestic market. The leading suppliers quoted the goods at 7,600 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 7,500 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,550 Yuan/ton temporarily.

 

PTA price kept unchanged in overseas market. The Taiwan goods are quoted at 1,005-1,010 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 995 dollars/ton. The discussions are around 995-1,000 dollars/ton.

 

Today, the cotton futures opened lowly again in the morning session in ZCE. Contract 1301 opened at 19,165 Yuan/ton, which dramatically dropped 135 Yuan/ton than the closing price of last trading day.
