Now they quoted the low-stretch DTY 75D/72F for 20, 600 Yuan/ton, DTY 50D/144F 27, 000 Yuan/ton, FDY 50D/48F 19, 000 Yuan/ton (6-month Acceptance) and POY 150D/144F 15, 000 Yuan/ton. Another local melt spinning factory’s quotation keeps steady. Now they quoted light FDY 75D/36F for 17, 500 Yuan/ton and DTY 75D/72F for 20, 200 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers said the sales were flat. However, some products’ supply is still in short, and there is basically no stock pressure. The polyester yarn price keeps stable in Taicang, China. A local mainstream polyester yarn manufacture’s quotation remained unchanged. However, the POY price generally increased 300 Yuan/ton in two-day weekend. Now the FDY 50D/24F was quoted at 18, 650 Yuan/ton (3-month Acceptance) and the acceptance price of POY 75D/72F was 16, 750 Yuan/ton. The manufacturer said the early inquiry was ordinary.

Now they quoted FDY 66D/24F for 17, 100 Yuan/ton, 150D/96F 14, 300 Yuan/ton, light-web POY 75D/72F 20, 000 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 150D/48F 15, 700 Yuan/ton. The manufacturer said the production and marketing in the weekend was ordinary, but the storage was not big which was basically under 10-day amount. Another local POY manufacturer quoted POY 150D/144F for 14, 300 Yuan/ton and they said the early inquiry was ordinary. The polyester yarn price slightly increased in Tongxiang, China today. A local mainstream polyester yarn manufacturer reported that light POY increased 200 Yuan/ton and others 100 Yuan/ton. Among all the products, light DTY commonly increased 200 Yuan/ton; cation yarn increased 150 Yuan/ton and others 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted POY 150D/48F for 13, 950 Yuan/ton and pre-web DTY 300D/96F 14, 850 Yuan/ton.
Parts of polyester manufacturers (Zhejiang Hualian, Shanghai Lianji) in East China have given out their settlement prices for semi-dull polyester chips this month. Among this, the January’s contract settlement price for semi-dull polyester chips is 12, 750 Yuan/ton which increased 1, 250 Yuan/ton compared with last month. The January’s contract settlement price for light polyester chips is 12, 750 Yuan/ton which increased 1, 350 Yuan/ton compared with last month. Besides, all the chemical fiber factories had no stock pressure, whose storage is generally under 7 to 10 days’ amount. Moreover, the upstream products’ prices remain a growing tendency. Therefore, no matter how the sales are now, the chemical fiber manufacturers’ intention of putting up the price is still strong.
