The other full-dull products’ manufacturer reported a common increase of FDY for 100 Yuan/ton and other products remain unchanged. Now they quoted FDY 40D/48F 20, 500 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers said there was little stock pressure and the early inquiry was still good. Now the FDY 50D/24F was 18, 600 Yuan/ton (spot exchange), and the acceptance price of POY 75D/72F was 16, 850 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported no stock pressure.

Now they quoted FDY 150D/96F for 14, 600 Yuan/ton, light-web DTY 75D/72F 20, 200 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 150D/48F 15, 900 Yuan/ton. Another local POY manufacturer’s quotation keeps stable. They quoted POY 150D/144F for 14, 760 Yuan/ton and FDY 75D/36F 16, 410 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers said yesterday’s sales fell back a little. The polyester yarn price keeps steady in Tongxiang, China. The local mainstream polyester manufacturers’ quotation of polyester yarn remains unchanged, but the quotation of compounded yarn increased 100 Yuan/ton and high-tenacity yarn increased 500 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted POY 150D/48F for 14, 050 Yuan/ton and light-web DTY 150D/48F 16, 450 Yuan/ton.
The international crude oil price fell back greatly yesterday. Ended by the closing, the light crude oil futures delivered in March dropped 1.68 dollars at COMEX, closed at 86.19 dollars/drum and the drop rate was 1.91%. The crude oil price dropped 1.36 dollars in London Market, closed at 95.25 dollars/drum and the drop rate was 1.41%. And the Asian PX price stays at 1, 633 dollars FOB Korea, and the European PX price stays at 1, 621 dollars FOB Rotterdam. PTA futures, the main force TA1105 ended at 11, 350 Yuan/ton, which dropped 94 Yuan/ton compared with last trading day. PTA spot goods’ quotation was around 11, 200 Yuan/ton in the inner market; Taiwan goods’ quotation in the outskirt was around 1, 430-1, 440 dollars/ton. In the Jiangsu-Zhejiang market, the semi-dull chips’ mainstream quotation was 13, 300 Yuan/ton (cash acceptance). However, the sales in the market began to fall back yesterday, and the production and marketing of the manufacturers fell back to 70-80%. Therefore, except some manufacturers who had low storage that raised the price slightly, other polyester yarn manufacturers’ quotations were mainly steady.
