Aug 20th Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 

PFY: Today polyester yarn price continues to be stable in Xiao Shan, China. Now FDY75D/36F is quoted at 12,400 Yuan/ton, FDY500D/96F is quoted at 11,300 Yuan/ton. DTY75D/72F and DTY150D/144F are quoted at 14,700 Yuan/ton and 13,300 Yuan/ton respectively.

CPL: Today RMB spot market of CPL is mild in China. Now the supplier quotes the goods for 18,300-18,400 Yuan/ton, the bidding price of downstream manufacturer is around 18,100-18,200 Yuan/ton and the practical discussion is near by 18,200-18,300 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere is cold and with little negotiations.

PSF: Today the price of polyester staple fiber continues to be down in East China. The leading quotation of main manufacturers also declines slightly in the market and the leading quotation of 1.4D direct spinning PSF focuses on 10,600-10,750 Yuan/ton.

MEG: Today MEG has a strong wait-and-see mood in domestic market. Now the offer price of MEG stays at 7,700-7,750 Yuan/ton, the counter offer is around 7,650 Yuan/ton or above and the negotiating price is near by 7,700 Yuan/ton.
