The other full-dull products’ manufacturer quoted FDY 40D/48F 20, 500 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers said yesterday’s sales obviously went flat. The production and marketing was around 50%. The mainstream local manufacturers’ storage was below 10-day amount. The polyester yarn price keeps stable in Taicang, China. A local mainstream polyester yarn manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 18, 600 Yuan/ton (spot exchange), and the acceptance price of POY 75D/72F was quoted at 16, 850 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the sales became weak and the production and marketing was around 50-60%. The polyester yarn price and the mainstream quotation both keep stable in Zhang Jiagang, China. Now FDY 40D/24F was quoted 18, 800 Yuan/ton.
The polyester yarn price in Xiao Shan is in consolidation today. The mainstream manufacturers’ quotations remain unchanged. Now a manufacturer quoted FDY 150D/96F for 14, 600 Yuan/ton and light-web DTY 75D/72F for 20, 200 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price keeps steady in Tongxiang, China. The local mainstream polyester manufacturers’ quotation of polyester yarn remains unchanged. Now they quoted POY 150D/48F for 14, 050 Yuan/ton and light-web DTY 150D/48F 16, 450 Yuan/ton. Manufacturer said yesterday’s sales obviously became weak.
Ended by the closing that very day, the light crude oil futures delivered in March increased 1.14 dollars at COMEX, closed at 87.33 dollars/drum. The crude oil price increased 2.26 dollars in London Market, closed at 97.91 dollars/drum. PTA futures, the main force TA1105 ended at 11, 602 Yuan/ton, which increased 134 Yuan/ton compared with last trading day. However, PTA spot goods’ quotation stays at 11, 200 Yuan/ton in the inner market; Taiwan goods’ quotation in the outskirt was around 1, 430-1, 440 dollars/ton. In the Jiangsu-Zhejiang market, the semi-dull chips’ mainstream quotation was 13, 300 Yuan/ton (cash acceptance). It is clear that the upstream raw material’s price keeps firm, and the downstream cover almost finished. Therefore, the polyester yarn manufacturers’ quotations are mainly steady today.
