The Output Of Man-made Fibers Is Over 30 Million Tons In 2010

According to the statistic of the State Statistic Bureau and the repot from China Textile and Apparel Committee, the textile fiber, yarn, fabric, and apparel outputs of enterprises above designated size increased again in 2010. Many projects got a double-digit growth.
The output of man-made fibers centered by polyester fibers was over 30 million tons and the output of fabrics and apparels increased nearly 20%.
The output of man-made fibers increased 15.55% year on year and reached 30.9 million tons, among which the output of synthetic fibers increased 16.05% and reached 28.52 million tons. The output of polyester centered by the filament increased 16.67% and reached 25.13 million tons. The output of the rayon increased 8.17% and reached 1.83 million tons.
The output of spinning increased 13.74% year on year and reached 27.17 million tons and among which the output of cotton yarns increased 12.27% and reached 20.7 million tons.
The output of fabrics increased 19.45% and reached 6.55 million tons.
The output of apparels increased 18.6% and reached 2.85 million tons; the output of knitted products reached 1.64 million pieces and increased 18.38% year on year; the output of woven garments increased 18.9% and reached 1.21 million pieces. The output of non-woven fabrics increased 24.23% dramatically and reached 1.75 million tons.
