The exportation situation is fine on Jan and the growth speed is high. The one-mouth export value of textiles and apparels increased 38.58% year on year, which is 14.90% higher than the growth speed in 2010 (23.68%). Reasons of the rapid increasing exportation are the restocking of Europe and America, the lesser export base in the same period of last mouth, the promoted price caused by promoted cost, and many factories delivered the goods of Feb. orders before the Spring Festival.
Tough the exportation situation is fine on Jan, the pressure of textiles corporations is not reduced and the crisis has existed tends to spread.
First, it is difficult to recruit workers. The phenomenon of lacking of workers is serious in Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, and the “reverse flow” caused by the rise of the Midwest area aggravated it.
Second, the cotton and polyester price increased every day and the cost of textiles factories is promoted.
Third, the appreciation of the RMB and devaluation of the VND are reducing the price superiority of Chinese textiles. According to a survey including 385 international buyers published by the Global Sources, China textiles suppliers have realized the order is decreasing. 31% buyers interviewed expressed they will increase purchase from Vietnam because the price of Vietnam products cheaper 30% than the Chinese products.
