Description
The compressed air water separator is mainly used for the engine to suck in a large amount of air during the working process. If the air is not filtered, the suspended dust in the air is drawn into the cylinder, which will accelerate the wear of the piston group and the cylinder.Larger particles entering between the piston and the cylinder will cause a serious "pull cylinder" phenomenon, which is especially serious in dry and sandy working environments.
The compressed air water separator itself has also made great progress, not only eliminating the risk of the partition plate damaging the filter medium, but also effectively increasing the filtering area, improving the filtering efficiency, and reducing the airflow resistance, thereby reducing energy consumption.In addition, the air filter has also made great progress in high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, waterproof, antibacterial, etc., to meet some special needs.
The following introduces the working principle of compressed air water separator:
1. When entering the separation chamber, the compressed air speed is slowed down, so that the particles gather again, and the water mist condenses on a honeycomb water collector again.
2. Carry compressed air containing harmful substances such as dust, oil, rust and moisture into the first-stage filtering device of the compressed air filter.
3. Water carrying impurity particles flows to the drainage device along the bottom, and is discharged through an automatic or electric drainage valve.
4. When the compressed air passes through the second-stage fiber filter made of special cotton, thousands of small vortices will be generated, and the compressed air will be accelerated dozens of times. The center of the vortex is like a tornado, forming a vacuum state. In the first stage of filtration, the water droplets that have not been filtered are again vaporized, converted, and filtered. At the same time, particles as small as 5 microns are also completely removed by the second stage of the filter.
5. More than 95% of the water droplets, oil and large particles in the compressed air have been filtered by the first filter element, and the compressed air after the first-stage filtration has entered the second-stage filter element.
6. The two-stage filtration achieves clean, dry compressed air that is dust-free, rust-free, oil-free, and water-free, ensuring the normal operation of pneumatic equipment and extending the service life of pneumatic equipment.
