Description
The cyclone water separator is a dry gas-solid separation device that uses the centrifugal force generated by the gas-solid mixture during high-speed rotation to separate dust from the airflow. Because the centrifugal force of the particles is much greater than the force of gravity and inertia, the separation efficiency is high. Its main structure is a conical cylinder. The upper section of the cylinder is equipped with a gas inlet pipe in the tangential direction. The top of the cylinder is equipped with a certain depth inserted into the cylinder. The exhaust pipe has a powder outlet for receiving fine powder at the bottom of the cone. When the dust-laden airflow enters the cyclone separator from the intake pipe at a speed of 12-30m/s, the airflow will change from linear motion to circular motion. The vast majority of the rotating airflow flows downward from the cylinder to the cone along the wall. In addition, the particles are thrown toward the wall under the action of centrifugal force. Once the dust particles contact the wall, they lose inertial force, and the momentum of the downward axial velocity near the wall falls along the wall and enters the ash discharge pipe. Fall into the collection bag from the powder outlet. The rotating downward external swirling airflow continuously flows into the center part of the separator during the descending process, forming a centripetal radial airflow, and this part of the airflow constitutes a rotating upward internal swirling flow. The direction of rotation of the inner and outer swirling flow is the same. Finally, the purified gas is discharged outside the exhaust pipe, and some of the finer dust particles that have not been separated also escape. Another small part of the gas flowing in from the intake pipe passes through the top cover of the cyclone separator and flows down the outside of the exhaust pipe. When it reaches the lower end of the exhaust pipe, it merges with the rising internal swirling airflow and enters the exhaust pipe. The fine particles dispersed in this part of the upper cyclone are also taken away, and then collected by a bag filter or a wet dust collector.
